Seoul, South Korea

Flying at night can be quite boring. Especially when you can’t sleep and babies are screaming their asses off all around you.
So I watch some episodes of Friends and Suits for a few hours and around 4:30 in the morning, we land to Seoul-Incheon Airport.

I’m staying at Namsan Gil House for 3 nights. Unfortunately, an early check-in was not possible (given that I’ve arrived at 5 in the morning), so again I found myself running in circles around the city of Seoul, dragging 20 kg of luggage behind me.
Around 2 PM, the guy from the desk shows me to my room, at first floor, a decent room with plenty of space, and quite clean. It had a private bathroom and a shared kitchen downstairs.

The city

First thing I noticed about Seoul was… hobos. A whole lot of them! Especially near the Seoul train station. The streets aren’t very clean, and people seem rather impatient.

In the more touristic areas, though, things look much better.

Seoul felt like a pretty short trip.
I don’t wanna say it was a bust, but I was so tired in Seoul that most of the time I slept. I went outside mostly at night, crawling for food.

I am happy for leaving Seoul to a place where I’ll be staying more than 3 or 4 days, ie. one month in Vietnam!

Next — 1 month in Vietnam, Hai Phong.
